WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (FEBRUARY 27, 2015) – The Winston-Salem Symphony has announced the winners of the 2014-2015 Peter Perret Youth Talent Search competition. Travis Creed Joins the WSS as Artistic Operations Director

The Winston-Salem Symphony today announced the engagement of Mr. James Travis Creed as its new Artistic Operations Director effective August 1, 2014. A native of Surry County, North Carolina, Mr. Creed has spent the past 13 years behind the scenes at hundreds of productions all over the state. Stephen Mulligan Named Assistant Conductor

The Winston-Salem Symphony today announced the engagement of Mr. Stephen Mulligan as its new Assistant Conductor effective August, 2014. Winston-Salem Symphony to Perform Gershwin and Ravel

The Winston-Salem Symphony has announced the winners of the 2013-2014 Peter Perret Youth Talent Search competition. First Prize Winner, pianist Ryan Jung and Second Prize Winner, organist Ray Hawkins will perform with the Winston-Salem Symphony at the Concert for Community, which will be held on March 22, 2014, at 3:00 p.m. in Wait Chapel on the Wake Forest University campus. Daniel Stein, tenor

Tenor Daniel C. Stein, whose voice has been described as “ringing” and “warm and flexible”, began the 2018-19 season joining Dayton Opera, singing the role of Matteo Borsa in their production of Verdi’s Rigoletto. He follows that by creating the role of William in the world premiere of The Flood (K. Fujiwara) with Opera Columbus and ProMusica Chamber Orchestra.
