Donor-Advised Funds    

A donor-advised fund (DAF) is a named charitable giving account set up by you under a public charity, most often a sponsoring financial or community institution.  You, the donor, make a charitable contribution to your donor-advised fund, receive an immediate tax deduction, and you can then recommend grants from the fund over time. Thank you for considering a gift to the Winston-Salem Symphony through your donor-advised fund. 

Qualified Charitable Distributions

For donors 70½ years old or older, your QCD check may be made out to the Winston-Salem Symphony. You are invited to consider a monthly donation from your IRA. Funds must be deposited by the Symphony by December 31 to count towards the current year.
